5/13/2008 - Third Lead Paint Case Dismissed By Summary Judgment

A summary judgment was granted by a Mobile County Circuit Court Judge in the last of three lead paint cases in which the firm represented the defendants who were owners of several rental properties in Mobile County leased to the plaintiffs pursuant to section 8 housing agreements. This case was factually identical to a previous lead paint poisoning case in which summary judgment was granted on behalf of our client in May of 2005 and affirmed by the Alabama Supreme Court on April 21, 2006. No appeal was taken by the plaintiff in this case.
