What We Do

Precise navigation through the maze of civil litigation

ALLRED & ALLRED, P.C. is a boutique civil litigation and appellate firm located in Montgomery, Alabama representing insurance companies and their insureds, corporations, self-insureds, as well as individuals in both state and federal trial and appellate courts statewide. The firm limits its focus to the practice of civil litigation only, limiting its case load in order to provide high quality representation to resolve legal matters in a timely and cost efficient manner, whether through litigation to trial or alternative dispute resolution.

Although carrying on a general civil litigation practice, including insurance defense and personal injury, the firm's areas of concentration include motor carrier litigation, products liability, premises liability, defense of automobile manufacturer warranty claims, fraud/bad faith cases against insurers, contractor liability, worker's compensation, insurance coverage questions, excess carrier disputes and class actions. The corporate litigation focus is on matters involving business torts, defense of warranty and liability claims arising from alleged product defects, large subrogation matters and employment law matters, especially defense of Title VII and related discrimination claims.

The firm is included in Martindale-Hubbell's Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers and holds the "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating awarded by that publication, based on peer review by fellow lawyers and judges. The firm is also included in the listing of Best's Recommended Insurance Attorneys.

The firm also handles a select number of meritorious plaintiff cases with significant exposure involving severe personal injury, wrongful death or substantial business losses. This includes cases involving injuries caused by tractor-trailer trucks, locomotives and other commercial vehicles, fraud/bad faith claims, as well as large collection and subrogation matters. The firm's experience in defending these cases provides a unique insight into prosecuting a similar claim from the plaintiff's perspective.
